Ginger Pear Jam


Made with wonderfully ripe Bartlett Pears grown in Eastern Washington by Collins Family Farm of Selah . We combine the freshly diced pears with a bit of freshly grated ginger. The ginger flavor remains after cooking, blending with the pear to create a refreshing surprise for your taste buds. Though many enjoy the taste on toast, this is a favorite to combine with soy sauce or other spices and use as a baste on chicken or shrimp on the barbeque or in the oven. This light refreshing taste blends well with meats as well as a morning bowl of oatmeal or porridge.
